Muharram Events and Mournings 2025

Greetings,

On the occasion of the arrival of the month of Muharram al-Haram and the mourning days of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Aba Abdillah al-Hossain (AS), the Towhid Centre of Calgary will be holding commemorative ceremonies for the first ten days of Muharram.

From Thursday, June 26 to Sunday, July 6

Time: Starting at 7:00 PM

Locations:

• June 26 – July 3: Towhid Centre of Calgary

• July 4 – July 6: Montgomery Community Centre

Program includes:

⬅️ Quran recitation, Ziyarat Ashura, speech/lecture, mourning rituals, refreshments, and dinner
